    Redbirds is the oldest fried chicken place in Canyon Lake!  They feature a family recipe that is over 100 years old.  The originator?  Opal, “Ma” Redbird, a member of the Cherokee Nation, born in 1888, who then taught the current family members, Linda and Rhonda Redbird, who carry on the family tradition.  There are specials, family packs, side dishes, homemade dessert, as well as hot wings and party packs.   I’ve eaten there a couple of times - great for take-out!
